Dr. Rajat Baja is a well-known figure in the field of medical oncology. He has more than 10 years of extensive experience in oncology. Dr. Rajat has accomplished the rare feat of performing over 700 immunotherapies every year for the last three years. He has a long history of being a talented student. He received both his MBBS and MD in medicine from Delhi's esteemed Maulana Azad Medical College. The renowned Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre in Delhi, which is regarded as India's top cancer centre, is where he completed his DNB super specialisation. He has participated in numerous medical oncology research and training programmes in India, Asia (Singapore), and Europe (Berlin, Germany). He holds a European Medical Oncology certification.

He is a member of the European Society of Medical Oncology and is certified in Medical Oncology (ECMO). He is particularly interested in the use of targeted medicines, infusion biological therapy, oral TKIs, and immunotherapy to treat solid tumours. His aptitude for academic work has earned him the respect of his peers. He has presented his research work as a speaker on numerous occasions and has had his work published in numerous reputable international and national journals. He is the recipient of the Indian Achievers Award in Oncology for the fiscal year 2021-22.
